West Bengal Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee on Monday requested Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar to administer the oath to the newly-elected MLAs, including Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on October 7. The Governor has on the other said that he was requested last week to appoint the assembly speaker to administer the oath to the MLAs elected through a by-poll in Bhabanipur and election to Jangipur and Samserganj seats.
