Neil Doef, Hockey Canada reach injury settlement after 8-year court battle

In 2014, 17-year-old Neil Doef was checked into the boards during a World Junior A Challenge game, fracturing a vertebra and compressing his spinal cord. He sued Hockey Canada and an insurance company in 2015, and a settlement has now been reached.
